In this comprehensive session you will find out how our International Student Advisory Service supports you. You will hear about the services we offer, find out how to open a UK bank account, how to register with a doctor and much more. Please join us for this important first session of your first week at Ulster.

If you have concerns about securing long-term accommodation then this is your opportunity to ask questions and learn more about finding the accommodation that best suits your needs.

EASC Workshop - Critical Thinking Skills	Wednesday 16 September 2026 at 9:30 am	MU202 Join our EASC team to find out how to develop your critical thinking skills. This session is open to all students.
Understanding your Student Visa Responsibilities	Wednesday 16 September 2026 at 11:15 am	MU201 In this session our Student Visa and Immigration Support service will explain, in-depth, the terms of your Student Visa and how to stay compliant throughout your time at Ulster. This is mandatory for all Student Visa holders. If you do not have a Student Visa, you should not attend this session. If you are unsure if this session applies to you, please email isas@ulster.ac.uk
Your Local Faith Communities	Wednesday 16 September 2026 at 12:15 pm	MU201 This session is hosted by our Chaplaincy and is for those of all faiths and none. Come along and find out about the University's Chaplaincy service and how you can be supported in your own faith community during your studies.

The Giant's Causeway & North Coast Trip	Friday 18 September 2026 at 8:45 am	Departing at the MD Steps Register for our trip to the famous Giant's Causeway on Northern Ireland's north coast. We'll stop at the beautiful coastal town of Portrush for lunch. The cost is just £20 per person and includes private coach travel, entry to the Giant's Causeway and visitor centre and lunch on the way back. But hurry - spaces are limited, so register now through our online store.
