Modular course structure
At Ulster University, all courses are made up of modules.
A module is like a building block of your degree. Each module focuses on a specific subject or topic and has its own learning goals, teaching style, and assessments.
A module can be taught and assessed within a single semester or across a whole year (also called "long-thin”).
The benefits of modules
This modular system means you can study a variety of topics, build knowledge step by step, and clearly see how each part contributes to your overall degree.
