International Student Advisory Service
The International Student Advisory Service provide a dedicated service for international students on non-academic and welfare matters such as immigration and adjusting to life in Northern Ireland.
Non-immigration support is also available providing advice related to living in the UK, such as opening bank accounts and accessing the NHS. We also organise the University's International Student Orientation programmes and coordinate events for international students throughout the year.
If you have a question and need to speak to a team member quickly you can drop in to our virtual reception to speak with a member of the team.
This service is available Monday-Friday from 2-4pm during semester.
Additional Support at the Start of Semester
We understand that you may have lots of questions after you arrive in Northern Ireland. The team will be available during the enrolment period from 9am to 5pm across all our campuses to support you. Details of where to find the team on each campus will be updated in September 2023, prior to International Orientation starting.
If you have a general query:
- you can get this answered quickly by dropping into our virtual reception
- you can book an individual appointment if you have a more complex question
- you can email the team directly
We will also be available at our weekly Coffee and Chat sessions, these are an informal drop-in on each campus.
