Pre-Arrival Webinars

Your chance to meet the ISE team and learn more about your campus and Northern Ireland. There will be top tips and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions.


Our pre-arrival webinar series is a great resource for new international students before they start their journey at Ulster.

The webinars are designed to give you an overview of what you will need to consider before you start your studies.

The webinars will cover topics such as:

  • Documents you will need to complete prior to arrival
  • Accommodation at Ulster
  • Living in Northern Ireland
  • Understanding and meeting orientation expectations and responsibilities
  • Transitioning successfully to student and academic life at the Ulster
  • BRP collection process

Accommodation

Wednesday 28 July 2021 - Today's theme will be accommodation.

We will discuss the options available to you both on and off campus.

You will also meet some of the ISE team and hear the latest University updates.

There will also be the opportunity for you to ask any questions either in advance of the meeting or during the webinar.

Covid-19

Wednesday 11 August 2021 -  Today's theme will be COVID-19 and living in Northern Ireland.

Learn about current restrictions, our vaccination roll-out, and what safety measure you can expect when you are on campus.

You will also meet some of the ISE team and hear the latest University updates.

There will also be a Question and Answer session after the webinar.

Travel

Wednesday 25 August 2021 -  Today's theme will be travel (details about airports and public transport etc).

We'll also give you more detail of what to expect if you are travelling from Red, Amber or a Green List country.

The ISE team will be on hand for you to ask any questions.

International Orientation

Wednesday 1 September 2021 -  Today's theme will be International Orientation.

Learn what to expect during International Orientation, some of the activities we have planned alongside details of the wider University Welcome week, your Course Induction and Freshers!

There will also be the opportunity for you to ask any questions in advance of the meeting or during the webinar.
