U213 Find out more about living and learning in Northern Ireland and get prepared for the week ahead. We'll cover life at Ulster, the local area, how to register with a GP, open a bank account and use public transport. You'll also get some tips and advice from our Global Ambassadors and have the chance to ask them any questions you might have. |

Meet at Global Lounge Meet outside the Global Lounge at 1.15pm. A private coach will take us to explore Coleraine Town and then onto Riverside Retail Park for everything you will need to set up your new home. We'll show you some local supermarkets so you can stock up on some groceries too! |

Global Lounge Madiha (one of our International Students) is a talented Henna artist who will showcase the vibrant South Asian culture by applying henna. Henna is a plant-based reddish-brown dye traditionally applied on hands to create intricate designs, similar to tattoos. |

Global Lounge This event is the first meet up of the semester for those in the Global Buddy Scheme! You will get the opportunity to decorate a pot, and plant some herbs and spices that you can nurture and watch grow throughout the year. Come along and meet with fellow new students and Student Buddies in the Scheme. Who knows, you may even make a friend or two. All new students are welcome! |

Pick Up at Steps Outside Main Entrance Sign Up to our Away Day trip to the Giant's Causeway. A bus will take you from Coleraine to Northern Ireland's famous Giant's Causeway, stopping off for lunch in Portrush on the way back. The closing date to sign up is Tuesday 30 January 2024. The cost is only £10 per person and includes travel, entry to the Giant's Causeway and lunch. But hurry - spaces are limited! Important Note: The event may close earlier than 30 January if all spaces are filled before the deadline. |
