At Ulster, your voice shapes the student experience. From your course to campus life, your feedback helps us make positive changes that matter.

Throughout the year, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to share your thoughts and let us know what’s working and what could be improved.

National Student Survey (NSS)

This is a UK-wide survey for final year students to reflect on their university experience from teaching, resources and student life.

It's an anonymous survey that only records the university you study at, not your name or details.

The results helps us make improvements to the student experience. The findings are also used by university applicants who are researching options.

The survey is open from 8 January to 30 April 2025.

Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)

This is a UK-wide survey for postgraduate students to share their learning experience, course structure, assessment, feedback and support services.

It's an anonymous survey that only records the university you study at, not your name or details.

The results help us develop our course content and the student experience as well as discover how we are doing compared to other universities.

Module Survey Feedback

At the end of each completed module, you'll be asked to share your feedback on assessment, feedback, learning resources and course team.

These findings help us build on what you loved about your modules as well as make specific changes to improve the experience for other students.
