*This policy does not apply to Global Online students, Queen Anne's Higher Education (QAHE) and College of Medicine and Dentistry (COMD).
- The exception is that new students only with an intake year of 2022/23 will not be liable for any tuition fees for that academic year if they withdraw within 14 days of completing registration or within 14 days from the first day of term, whichever is the latest date, to allow a cooling-off period.
- Should you decide to withdraw from or discontinue your studies, or if you have been granted a period of leave of absence from your programme of study, our Tuition Fee Liability Policy provides important information in relation to the amount of tuition fees charged. The date of withdrawal/leave of absence is used by the University in calculating your tuition fee liability.
- If your tuition fees are being paid via a student loan, the University will be required to notify Student Finance NI of your revised fee liability so that you can borrow the correct amount in each academic year.
Please select the relevant link below to find out more about how your withdrawal/leave of absence date will determine the amount of tuition fees charged.
