Welcome to Ulster - International Student Orientation January 2026
Online Enrolment and Orientation
Our International Student Orientation Programme will run for a full week beginning on Monday 19 January and concluding on Friday 23 January 2026.
The International Student Advisory Service have a full week of activities to help you get all the key information your need, make new friends, and to become familiar with your new surroundings.
To ensure you have a smooth transition and get all the information you need to start your journey, we invite you to attend these sessions.
Next Steps
- There will be an International Student/Study abroad/exchange students welcome Session on Monday 19 January at 10 am in U113 followed by registration. All students must attend this session.

H320 (Library) Meet the library team and learn how to access library materials, e-books, and journals. As well learn how to book a 1-1 appointment with your subject librarian. |

Meet at Global Lounge Meet outside the Global Lounge at 3pm. A private coach will take us to explore Coleraine Town and then onto Riverside Retail Park for everything you will need to set up your new home. We'll show you some local supermarkets so you can stock up on some groceries too! |

Pick up at steps outside main entrance Register for our Away Day trip to the Giant's Causeway. A bus will take you from Coleraine to Northern Ireland's famous Giant's Causeway, with a stop at the beautiful coastal town of Portrush on the way back. The cost is just £20 per person and includes travel, entry to the Giant's Causeway visitor centre and lunch in Portrush. But hurry - spaces are limited! |
