Submitting your application
- Confirm you are eligible to apply
- Have all supporting evidence ready to upload
- Login using your university email address and university password. If you cannot remember your password, you can select the 'forgot password' option.
- Complete all requested parts of the form & upload ALL supporting evidence
- Once complete, click submit.

Tracking your application
The Student Money team are unable to provide any updates on your application via email, you can track the progress of your application by viewing the status on the online portal that you used to submit your application.
Below is an explanation of the application statuses:
New: Your application has been received, you will also receive an email confirming this.
Assigned - awaiting initial check: Your application has been assigned to one of the team and an initial check will be completed to ensure all supporting evidence has been received. Applications are assigned on a 'first come, first served' basis.
Pending - awaiting student documents: This status will show once initial checks have been completed. Please respond with the supporting evidence requested via email to your Ulster University student email. We will not proceed any further with your application until this evidence has been submitted in full.
Ready for Assessment: When all supporting evidence has been received, the team will review your application and evidence to determine if you are eligible for an award.
Ready for Spot Check: All evidence has been received and your application has been assessed. Your application is awaiting a spot check to ensure it has been accurately assessed.
In Payment: Your application has been successful and the team are collating details to send to the finance department for payment.
Rejected: This means your application has been rejected and the team will email the rationale of this decision to your Ulster University student email.
Sent for Payment - Complete: Your details have been sent to our finance department in order for them to arrange a BACS transfer. Once the finance team have processed your payment, you will receive a remittance email confirming the details. Please note; BACS payments take 2-3 banking days to reach your account.
