Payment Methods

Information on available payment methods.

How may I pay my tuition fees?

There are various ways of paying your tuition fees. For example, you may have applied to the Student Loans Company for a tuition fee loan or grant or it may be that you have a sponsor, such as an employer, who has agreed to pay your tuition fees. Alternatively, you may be a self-funding student.

Before considering the general payment options at the bottom of this page, please choose from the two sections below, depending on your residency, for important information on paying your tuition fees and tuition fees payment options. If you are unsure of your residency, please contact your Faculty Office.

Once you have considered this information, if you are a self-funding student, the various ways of making payment of your tuition fees is available at the bottom of this page. For example, you may wish to make payment of your tuition fees in full or you may decide to opt for one of our instalment plans.

  • Home/EU/GB

    Student Loans Company Funded Students: some students may be eligible for a tuition fee loan or a part-time tuition fee grant.

    Sponsored Students: some students may have their tuition fees paid by a sponsor, e.g. an employer.

    Self-Funding Students: if you are a self-funding student there are various payment methods to choose from when paying your tuition fees. You may decide to pay your tuition fees in full or you may prefer to opt for one of our instalment plans, if the balance is £100 or more.

  • Overseas

    Sponsored Students: some students may have their tuition fees paid by a sponsor, e.g. an employer.

    Self-Funding Overseas Students: tuition fees must be paid in full at registration. If you are unable to pay your tuition fees in full, a minimum deposit of £2,000 must be paid and an instalment plan set up for the balance at registration.

    Self-Funding Overseas Students Distance Learning: A 20% non-refundable deposit must be paid and an instalment plan set up for the balance at registration.

    New students only with an intake year of 2019/20 who withdraw within 14 calendar days of completing registration, will have tuition fees paid for in that academic year refunded.
