I’m a mature student in my first year of adult nursing. I picked Ulster University due to the ranking of the university with the nursing courses. So far, the experience of Ulster has been great but also strange.

I am enjoying the course and all the content in it, although only being able to attend the campus for some training sessions is odd.

The staff have been very helpful and supportive, making us all feel at ease, especially with studying at home.

Although being in a group with other students that are in the same situation is good, as we are able to help and support one another.

The lecturers have been great and more than helpful and have tried to make us all feel at ease with every class and anything I need, I know that they will do everything they can to help us.

We understand that student life can be tough sometimes, that’s why we have our Student Wellbeing team, who are always on hand if you need advice or support.
