Ulster University is launching its new Carers’ Network in March 2026, and a range of events and activities across our campuses has been planned to mark this.

What is the Carers’ Network?

The Carers’ Network has been created to recognise, include and support students and staff who have caring responsibilities.

Since membership opened in October 2025, the Network has grown steadily and now has over 120 members, with around a third being students. This shows the wide range of people within the University who have caring responsibilities or an interest in supporting carers.

Upcoming Engagement Sessions

Before the official launch, current Network members are invited to join a series of engagement sessions where you can help shape the Network’s priorities and future activities. Details will be sent to members by email.

These sessions will play an important role in guiding the next phase of the Network’s development.
