Elsewhere on Ulster
Ulster University has just opened new teaching spaces for the School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems students in Derry~Londonderry.
The Derry~Londonderry campus is expanding to Timber Quay on the Strand Road offering computing laboratory-based teaching and learning spaces for new and returning students.
Timber Quay, also known as Block MXB, is around a 10-minute walk from the main campus, accessible via a pedestrian crossing to the opposite side of the Strand Road. We urge all students to cross at this designated spot due to the heavy traffic flow on the main road.
Unfortunately parking is very limited so if you are travelling by car, please park at the main campus or in a safe and legal public area. Check out our tips and advice on travelling to campus.
If you aren’t familiar with the Strand Road, check out the campus map which shows the location of Timber Quay, Block MXB.
A second phase of the development will introduce further teaching spaces for Computing and Engineering students, ready for September 2026.
