Ulster University, UUSU and Northern Ireland Resources Network are teaming up to encourage you to ditch the disposables and bring your own cup to uni. A simple but important initiative to help reduce waste and promote sustainability across Ulster University.

How to get involved

Bring any reusable cup to your main Ulster University campus coffee outlets and:

Why it matters

Every year, millions of single-use cups are thrown away after just one drink. Many are lined with plastic, making them difficult to recycle. This means they often end up in landfills or littering our natural spaces.

By choosing a reusable cup, you’re helping to cut down waste, protect the environment, and build a greener campus community.

Don’t have a reusable cup?

If you don’t already have one, ask your local coffee outlet about reusable cups. Each reusable cup used is one less disposable cup in the bin.

You can also get 10% off your first order at KeepCup, the world’s first provider of barista standard reusable cups. From lattes and iced coffees to matchas and teas, they’ve designed trendy cups for every taste and occasion. Check out the video below for a glimpse of the range of styles available!
