Computing facilities closed on all campuses from 4;30pm on Wednesday 24 December and will reopen 8:45am on Friday 2 January.

24 hour Open Access IT Facilities are available on campus 24hrs – except for Thurs 25, Fri 26 Dec and Thurs 1 Jan.

Library Services (staffed opening hours including enquiry services and access to books) closed on all campuses from 5.00 pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025 and will reopen 8:45am on Friday 2 January 2026.

Campus Libraries will provide 24-hour access to spaces for Ulster students and staff with the exception of December 25 and 26 and January 1. Open areas will include study environments, social learning spaces and access to computing, printing, scanning and photocopying facilities

Students & staff must have their card with them to gain access and we ask that users report to campus security desks before entering libraries.

Offices will be closed during the Christmas period from 5pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 and will reopen 8:45am on Friday 2 January 2026.

A range of support services and events are available throughout the period and full details have been sent via email and are available on the ResLife website.

Student Wellbeing offices will be closed on all campuses from 5pm on Tuesday 23 December, reopening at 8:45am on Friday 2 January 2026.

During this time Ulster University students can still access support from multiple sources:

• There is counselling support from Lena by Inspire, which is accessed by calling their 24/7 helpline 0800 028 5510 or by emailing support@lenabyinspire.com (Not 24 hour)
• Online self-help resources are available from the Lena by Inspire Student hub (using the PIN UUHUB)
• Your local Accident & Emergency (Emergency Department). GP (doctor) out of hours services can be found on NI Direct.
• If you are in distress or crisis, contact Lifeline on 0808 808 8000.
• The Samaritans listening ear helpline 116 123
