Introduction

We understand mature learners balance education with other responsibilities.  Our pre-entry transition day aims to support your move to studying at Ulster.

We recognise that returning to education as a mature student is a rewarding yet challenging journey. Many students balance university alongside work, family and other personal responsibilities and so might need different support from their peers.

To support you at the start of your university journey, take advantage of our Mature Students Transition Day.  This is an opportunity to come to campus before Welcome Week to learn about key university services, have a tour and try out our lunch facilities!

  • Understand the support the University has to offer mature learners.
  • Explore key study skills in preparation for University life.
  • Meet other mature learners to start making connections before you commence your studies.
