On the 14th November, our Coleraine Campus hosted its' Insight into Biomedical Science event for final year students.
The employer event was open to all student studying Biology, Biomedical sciences and Pharma Bio Science courses and allowed students to gain an insight into opportunities available to them within this industry, meet employers such as Abbott Diabetes Care, Randox Laboratories and Genpact Pharmalink.
The students that attended were keen to gain employer expertise and to hear from them directly what a role within biomedical science looks likes.
James Magee, Lead Associate for Recruitment at Genpact Pharmalink commented on the success of the bespoke event:
The event was a great opportunity to engage directly with Bioscience students without the hustle and bustle of a larger scale recruitment fair. We didn’t have to rush our pitch and we managed to have some very productive and detailed conversations and felt the students fully understood their career options if they were to join Genpact Pharmalink.
