At Ulster, we support business continuity through our placement and internship programmes, which offer you new levels of flexibility. We are currently seeking employers to work with us to provide university placements, internships, and work experience opportunities.

Professional placements

Lasting between 26 and 48 weeks, an undergraduate placement is a terrific way for students to work on meaningful projects, bringing fresh insights and new thinking to help your business achieve results. Placements are a great way to build your future pipeline of talent for graduate roles.

Flexible internships

Need additional resource and skills for a specific job or project? Offering a paid internship for students is an excellent solution.

You can offer an internship of 1 week to 24 weeks, some of which attract funding in the form of bursary for your intern. This can help support your recruitment of both undergraduate students and recent graduates.

The workplace for students and graduates has evolved to include digital and remote work settings. We accept live projects that you can outsource to a student or a group of students. However, students can still undertake placements on-site, where health, safety and wellbeing measures are in place to protect all employees.
