Social Story: what happens during an eye test?
Some people, especially those with Autism spectrum disorder, find an eye test daunting, and would benefit from further information about getting their eyes tested to help prepare them for their visit. We have created a booklet containing a 'social story' simply describing what happens at an eye test. Eyecare professionals are welcome to use this resource and adapt to their own requirements.
