Teaching interests

Suzanne has a passion for ensuring an excellent student experience and central to this is the philosophy that quality research drives quality teaching and learning.

She strives to introduce students to the diversity of social and cultural geography, and has a genuine desire to share her own learning and interests with them.

Research interests

Suzanne's research lies at the intersections between social and cultural geography focusing on young people, migration and mobility, and international higher education.

At present, she is researching the role of migration industries in international higher education transitions, namely the importance of higher education agents in facilitating global geographies of international student mobility. Suzanne is an Honorary Research Associate, University of Hull (2016-2019).
