Andrew Chambers


Overview

Andrew Chambers is module coordinator for the Person-Centred Assessment and Practice-Based Learning Experience modules in Year 1 of the BSc (Hons) programme in Paramedic Science at Ulster University.

He has extensive experience in the pre-hospital environment in Northern Ireland having joined the Ambulance Service in 2005 and by being a member of St. John Ambulance (NI) since the early 1990s.  Whilst in the Ambulance Service he progressed to the level of Clinical Training Officer and Driving Tutor, before joining the team at Ulster.

Andrew’s particular areas of interest include trauma, simulation, human factors, pharmacology and advancing practice.  He also has a keen interest in staff and student wellbeing and resilience.
