Our research focuses upon health technologies and health practices for patients in the areas of clinical sciences, diagnostic radiography, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry, and speech and language, therapeutic radiography and oncology.
The Centre for Health and Rehabilitation Technologies or CHaRT (led by Dr Brenda O’Neill) is a large multidisciplinary grouping of allied health professionals, clinical scientists, and PhD researchers.
Our centre aims to enable healthy living throughout the life span for people with long term conditions.
We do this through high quality patient centred translational research (allied health professionals, clinical scientists, and researchers and PhD researchers) that supports and empowers patients to develop skills and strategies to manage their long-term condition.
Our research advances health care practice and education and is making a significant impact given its broad reach across all settings in health care.
Our research improves health and wellbeing and directly impacts health practices and policies.
