Nearly a third of the world population does not have access to safe drinking water at home.

Dr William Snelling, member of the NICHE research group,  is taking part to the Safe Water project and Ulster University's role is to provide a low cost clean water technology that is sustainable and can be easily used.

The SAFEWATER project is funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) Research Councils UK Collective Fund".
