The University, in co-operation with Microsoft, provides a web-based email service to all students. When you register with the University, you will be  issued with an email account on Microsoft's Office 365 environment. A corresponding Ulster University email address will be provided and will  have the form:

IMPORTANT RE CHANGEOVER IN STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESSES: Due to difficulties with the supplier, the changes to your University Office 365 account will not be effective at this time.  Please continue to use your old email address until further advised.

How Do I Access My Email?

When you click the 'Email and OneDrive' button in the Portal you will be redirected to the Office 365 login page where you will use your University email address and Office 365 password.  Please read the guidance on accessing email by clicking on this link.

You can also login directly at the web address

Please note the email password is not the same password as the one you use for the Portal and student workstations. If you have not changed your initial email password yourself, you can refer to this FAQ: Finding your Office 365 password to see your password as provided during online enrolment.
