The University, in co-operation with Microsoft, provides a web-based email service to all students. When you register with the University, you will be issued with an email account on Microsoft's Office 365 environment. A corresponding Ulster University email address will be provided to you at enrolment and will have the form: firstname.lastname@example.org
Please refer to your Student Banner record if you are unsure of your email address and/or initial network password.
11th September Update - FAO RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY - IMPORTANT RE CHANGEOVER IN STUDENT EMAIL ADDRESSES: The changeover from your old @email.ulster.ac.uk email address to your new @ulster.ac.uk address (and associated OneDrive) took place on MONDAY 11th SEPTEMBER, and you should use your new account with immediate effect. Please note this change does not affect new students registered in 17-18 academic year. Please see this advice page for more details.
How Do I Access My Email?
When you click the 'Email and OneDrive' button in the Portal you will be redirected to the Office 365 login page where you will use your University email address and network password. Please read the guidance on accessing email by clicking on this link.
