- To provide a connected focus on the ‘experience’ that our people have from the moment they seek to join us to the day they decide to move on;
- To better enable the University to focus on the development, growth, health and wellbeing of its people; and
- To ensure that a focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is at the heart of the institution’s ethos.

Health, Safety and Wellbeing
This section focuses on both health and safety in the traditional sense and on the promotion of health - not just physical health, but mental, social and emotional wellbeing.
Organisational Design & Change
This Section works with colleagues across the University to design programmes of work to better enable the institution and its people to achieve the right culture, behaviours, skills and engagement, providing insight and direction around the effective management of people-related change.
People Development
This Section develops and oversees the People Development strategy and approaches which will provide the framework to develop and support our staff to achieve their career ambitions and the strategic goals of the University.
