Elsewhere on Ulster
Introducing Offshoot TV, the brand-new streaming platform created by Ulster University students.
Offshoot TV is a channel by UU students featuring profiles, documentaries, magazine shows, and all sorts of content not just aimed at students - but the wider world.
The Offshoot team is primarily (but not exclusively!) made up of Ulster University students who are studying or have studied Screen Production in Belfast, Journalism and Interactive Media in Coleraine, or Cinematic Arts in Derry ~ Londonderry.
You can watch on the Offshoot TV website or via their Youtube channel. You can also enjoy highlights and bonus content on Instagram and Tik Tok.
UU101 is Offshoot TV’s alternative guide to starting your life as a UU student, with a mix of expert advice and silliness. They also have profile pieces, a weekly magazine show, sports programmes and highlights, interviews, music and comedy, mini documentaries, and mini movies all either streaming now or dropping in the coming weeks!
If you have any ideas for content or are keen to develop your skills in any area of screen production (lights, sound, directing, presenting etc.) - please get in touch! Even if you just want to meet the team and get a feel for what they do, their door is always open – they are keen to meet as many UU students as they can.
You can get in touch by email, reach out via their socials, or just pop along to The Mall on the second floor of BC Building in Belfast.
