What is the NSS?

The National student Survey (NSS) has been conducted annually across all publicly funded higher education institutions in the UK since 2005, aimed at final year students. The results are summarised and published to help prospective students make informed choices about higher education courses which will best suit their interests and future ambitions.

Who runs the survey?

In Northern Ireland it is funded by The Department for the Economy administered by Ipsos MORI, an independent market research agency.

Why should you complete it?

This is your opportunity to:

  • Speak about your experiences at Ulster University
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in Ulster University
  • Help prospective students make informed choices
  • Have your say!

Where and when can you complete the survey?

Complete the survey by 30 April 2024. You will receive an email from Ipsos MORI with your unique link to the survey.

Ipsos MORI will ring students (from number 0131 561 4532) after 3 weeks if the survey has not been completed to request completion by telephone. (They will not contact you in relation to this once the survey is filled in).

Please note all responses will remain strictly anonymous and at no point will you be identified. All information will be securely deleted by Ipsos MORI after the survey closes and will not be shared with any third parties.

Ulster University relies on the feedback our students provide; your voice is very important to us so have your say today!
