What did you love most about being a student at Ulster?

Ulster played an important role, not only did it provide the academic skills in my first profession as an accountant, but the transferrable skills like communication, leadership, and team work that I developed have been so valuable in my entrepreneurial journey.

Being an international student and studying in a foreign country was challenging, but I also developed a lot of resilience which has contributed to my entrepreneurial life that I can deal with any challenges with grace and ease.

How did you get from graduation to where you are now?

I moved to London to start my professional life since I graduated in 2011. I worked in a small accounting practice in North London and studied my ACCA at the same time.

In 2014, with all the experience and knowledge I had, I started my first accounting firm focusing on helping healthcare professionals save tax and build wealth quicker.

I had this business for five years and I sold my firm in 2019. I’ve now started my second business, which is providing a corporate wellness programme based on martial arts benefiting people’s mental health at work, as I had been practising Taekwondo for over 10 years.

It is my real passion and I was a member of Ulster’s Taekwondo club when I was in at uni.
