Overview
John Keers graduated from Ulster University in 2005 and went on to study his Human Rights master’s degree at Ulster University’s Transitional Justice Institute and graduated in 2010. He commenced lecturing on a part-time basis that same year on various modules including Company Law, Land Law, and Introduction to Property Law. In 2014 he started to lecture on a full-time basis and currently is Module Coordinator for Introduction to Property Law, Land Law, Equity & Trusts and Contract Law. While primarily based at the Magee Campus, where he is Studies Advisor to Year 2 students, John also lectures at Jordanstown. His main research interests are within the fields of Company Law and Land Law.
John is also responsible for running the second year Moot each year.
John is a practicing barrister and is a member of the Northern Ireland Bar where he advises on contentious probate, land disputes, consumer credit and repossession, commercial disputes, construction disputes, and personal injury.
