Life Before Ulster

Joanne Faloon a Chartered Marketer and having gained the CIM Level 7 Professional Postgrad in Marketing and CIM Level 6 Digital Diploma in Professional Marketing, Joanne’s experience, skills and knowledge in this profession has spanned over 20 years.

Joanne has worked in senior marketing roles for several major organisations in Ireland including; C&C Group, Linwoods, Independent News & Media and CDE Global. Joanne achieved an MBA from QUB in 2005 and progressed her teaching career in 2011 by achieving a Certificate in Teaching and part-time lecturing for institutions such as South West College.

Joanne has delivered marketing and recruitment consultancy for several businesses and is a CIM Tutor for Belfast Academy of Marketing where she delivers a number of Marketing modules for CIM qualifications. Along with numerous CIM Marketing awards over the years Joanne was also awarded CIM Marketing Director of the Year in 2010.

Teaching

Joanne’s industry experience provides great exposure for students into how Marketing as a profession can have a significant impact on the success of an organisation.

Her experience includes a wide knowledge of Global and Export marketing for Magners Cider, Linwoods Health Foods and CDE Global Engineering.

Civic Roles

Joanne is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Marketer. She has built a wide and varied network of industry relationships over 25 years work both in Northern Ireland and Internationally.

She has guest lectured for several schools and colleges across Northern Ireland on Business and Marketing.
