Dr Caroline Walsh
Overview
Caroline joined the newly established Impact Team at Ulster University in June 2018.
Caroline holds a PhD in political theory (international justice) from Queen’s University Belfast. She was awarded an IRCHSS Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in human rights, equality and culture, undertaken at University College Dublin. She has taught at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, published in international journals and edited books, peer reviewed for international journals and presented papers and chaired panels at international conferences. Caroline has also held a research position at Ulster University and provided research consultancy to the higher education and third sectors. She has extensive experience in the third sector policy-research nexus, engaging in applied research to effect policy change to problems of social disadvantage and improve outcomes for stakeholder cohorts.
