On behalf of Ulster University, you are cordially invented to participate in a Sport-based Interventions Knowledge Exchange Event to be held at Ulster University’s Belfast Campus on 29th and 30th June 2022.

This two-day event will bring together practitioners, volunteers, associated organisations, and academics involved in sport-based interventions in Prison and Community Settings from across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and further afield. Our aim is to share knowledge and experiences on building interventions and discuss the challenges and opportunities faced in developing sport-based interventions in the future. Below is a provisional schedule for your convenience.

A portion of the event will involve a discussion of topics informed by a short, anonymous questionnaire designed to explore which issues are most pertinent to those working in this area. The purpose of the questionnaire is to help broaden the impact of the event and provide direction for future discussion. We also hope that the information gathered from the questionnaire will help to inform the publication of a Consensus Statement on the use of sport-based interventions. A link to the questionnaire will be sent out closer to the event.

Please register for the event via Eventbrite and state any dietary requirements.

When you have registered, if you have any dietary requirements, please email Amanda McKittrick a.mckittrick1@ulster.ac.uk
