  • Ana Luísa Soares 

    Ana Luísa Soares graduated in Radiotherapy by the School of Allied Health Sciences of Aveiro University (Portugal) in 2005 and holds a MSc in Radiotherapy in 2012 from School of Allied Health Sciences of Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Public Higher Education Institute (Portugal).

    Ana worked as a Radiation Therapist at Portuguese Institute of Oncology – Porto (IPOP), between 2005 and 2013 and as a Dosimetrist (since 2013 to the present day). She is also an Assistant Professor at University of Aveiro since 2015 and a student supervisor during their clinical placements in radiotherapy planning.

    She is an investigator of the SAFE EUROPE project, focusing on Work Package 6 (Circular Economy in Radiotherapy) and is a PhD candidate in Advanced Biotechnology at Vigo University (Spain).

  • Bárbara Barbosa

    Bárbara finished her bachelor's degree in Radiotherapy at Escola Superior de Saúde do Porto in 2007 and her Master's degree in Medical Physics at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto in 2010.

    She works as a Radiation Therapist at Instituto Português Oncologia, Porto, Portugal, since her graduation.

    Currently, Bárbara has an academic role as a clinical trainer during radiotherapy students’ placements in the radiotherapy department. She is a member of the Radiosurgery specialist group and a PhD student at Vigo University.

    She is also a member of the SAFE EUROPE project, focusing on Work Package 7 (Digital Skills for Therapeutic Radiologists), led by IPOP.

  • Celeste Oliviera

    Celeste Oliveira graduated in 2005 (BSc Radiotherapy) at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) and finished her MSc in Medical Informatics in 2012 at the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Sciences of Porto (Portugal).

    Therapy Radiographer at the Instituto Português de Oncologia do Porto (IPOP) since 2007, she is a member of staff from the SAFE EUROPE project, which is the lead organization partner for the Work Package 7.

    She is a Ph.D. student in Advanced Biotechnology registered at the University of Vigo, Spain, working on the Work Package 8 (Assessment of advanced practice for Therapy Radiographers in the National, European and International context) led by the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS).

  • Isabel Bravo

    Isabel Bravo works as researcher at the Medical Physics and Radiobiology Group, Research Center at the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto.

    She started her research work at the Gray Lab, Cancer Research UK. She has an MSC in Genetics ( Faculty of Medicine Univ. Porto and her PhD was in Immunology at University Aveiro.

    She is an assistant professor at Health Science School where she lectures to RTTs and is also an invited lecturer in radiobiology at different MSc courses in Medical Physics, Oncology and Medical Technology as well as postgraduate courses to medical residents in Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.

    She is an invited juri member / juri president to PhD and MSc thesis and has supervised a wide range of MSc and PhD thesis in radiation biology / radiation oncology / molecular oncology.

    She has published over 50 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. She is invited for peer-reviewing for Journals such as Medical Physics, British Journal of Cancer, Clinical Epigenetics, among others.
