We will host a visit of the Polish Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Professor Piotr Wilczek. Ambassador Wilczek is an accomplished academic, diplomat, and public speaker, with more than thirty years of professional experience in Europe and the United States.
He is a Professor at the University of Warsaw and was a Visiting Professor at Rice University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Illinois in Chicago.
During his visit to Ulster, he will deliver a seminar on ‘Polish diplomacy: the case of relations with the United States and the United Kingdom’.
He is particularly well qualified to discuss the subject as he had served as Poland’s Ambassador to the US (2016-21) before he took up his current post in February 2022.
Following the seminar and a Q&A session, there will be opportunities for individual discussions and networking.
