We provide a range of services to enable students with disabilities to achieve their academic goals at Ulster University.

We work with schools, faculties and professional services at Ulster to ensure that our students have the opportunity to access comprehensive and consistent support for the duration of their academic studies.

We support undergraduate and postgraduate students on full time, part time and distance learning courses. Our support is available to any student with a diagnosed disability or long term medical condition, which may include, but is not limited to, the following categories:

  • Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) including Dyslexia/Dyscalculia
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD)
  • Mental health conditions
  • Hearing impairment
  • Visual impairment
  • Physical impairment including mobility issues
  • Long-term illness or medical condition
