The Nutrition Society - Irish Section Conference 2018 (20-22 June) was organised by NICHE Nutrition Innovation Centre for Food and Health. Scientific Programme Organisers were Dr Pamela Magee, Senior lecturer in Human Nutrition and Dr Mary McCann, Lecturer in Human Nutrition and Course Director of BSc Food and Nutrition programme, from Ulster University.
The aim of this conference was to provide delegates with an overview on current nutritional issues relating to micronutrients, strategies to address these issues and implications for nutrition policy. Invited national and international experts provided a perspective on micronutrients during this two and a half day conference.
