Equality screening of new and revised policies
In fulfilling the University's obligations under Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998, the University's Equality Scheme includes a commitment to consult on the implementation of new and revised policies, as defined by the Equality Commission NI, with regards to equality of opportunity and good relations.
The University recently consulted on the equality screening of new and revised policies, as defined by the Equality Commission (NI), for the period November 2024 to April 2025. The equality screening consultation exercise closed on Friday 8 August 2025.
Please note that we are unable to respond to comments received after the consultation period closed and will not be able to include these in the summary of feedback received. The summary table below will be updated in due course to include feedback received during the latest exercise.
The next public consultation is scheduled for October 2025.
