Travelling onwards to Derry/Londonderry

If you are a studying on our Derry~Londonderry campus we would advise you, where possible, to land into Northern Ireland at our Belfast International airport. The Aircoach bus company provide a direct bus transfer service to Derry/Londonderry from this airport only.  This will be the quickest and most affordable option for you and you should book the service in advance.

If you are going to be living in Derry~Londonderry and arriving via Belfast City Airport, we will have staff available at the airport to support you with using public transport to get to campus.

Travelling onwards to Coleraine

If you are going to be studying and living at our Coleraine campus we would recommend that you land into the George Best Belfast City Airport.  Upon your arrival our team will support you in transferring by public transport (bus) to Great Victoria Street station.  There you will be able to take a coach or train to Coleraine station.  The campus is then a short 5 minute taxi journey away.  Taxi's are located directly outside Coleraine bus/train station.

Travelling onwards to Belfast or Jordanstown

If you coming into George Best Belfast City Airport our University accommodation next to our Belfast campus is less than 10 minutes away by taxi, and our Jordanstown Sports Village less than 20 minutes away by taxi.  Public transport is also available but this will take considerably longer.

If you plan on arriving at Belfast International Airport our team will be able to direct you to  public transport located directly outside the terminal building which will take you to Great Victoria Street Station.  You can then take a taxi or bus onwards to your accommodation. Alternatively a taxi will take approximately 30 minutes to get to campus accommodation.

How to pay for your transfers

We would recommend that you have a credit and/or debit card that can be used internationally AND GBP cash as a back up to pay for your airport transfers.

If you are not arriving over this period, or wish to make your own way to campus, we have provided guides for your assistance.
