Service Description

Digital Services can arrange to provide an audio recording of key events held within the major University event locations throughout our four campuses.

We are made aware of such events by requests from staff in Conference Services, Vice Chancellor's Office or Corporate Events.

Business Process

As soon as you think you would like to audio record a key event, please contact the Service Desk.

We will discuss your requirement with you to make sure it is feasible and clarify any costs. Be aware that the full permission of all the speakers to be recorded will be required in advance of any recording.

Email is the main method of confirming requirements. All details will be recorded on the service desk call and updated by the ICT Manager on your campus or their nominee.

The service desk call will not be closed until the event has occurred, arrangements fulfilled to transfer the audio file and any charges have been recovered by Digital Services Admin and Finance.

Supporting Materials

The audio recording equipment will be setup and normally operated by ICTCS staff looking after the event.

If this is not feasible or if it is felt that it would be more suitable for the customer to start and stop recording sessions, any simple instruction needed will be passed on prior to the start of the event.
