Psychology Research Institute staff deliver keynote talks at the Third International Congress of Forensic Psychiatry

Professor Mark Shevlin and Dr Jamie Murphy from the Psychology Research Institute were recently invited to deliver keynote talks at the Third International Congress of Forensic Psychiatry in LØdz, Poland.

Professor Shevlin’s presentation was entitled “Stressful life events and psychological disorders in forensic settings: identifying tipping-points using regions of significance.”

Dr Murphy delivered a talk entitled “Where is the border of sanity in psychosis”.

Both were joined in the international speaker session by Professor Belinda Winder from Nottingham Trent University and Dr Philip Hyland from the National College of Ireland.

The session was chaired by Professor Daniel Boduszek from the University of Huddersfield.
