Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) equip people to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health and feel confident to guide/signpost someone to appropriate support services.

The MHFA will be provided with training that will teach them to recognise mental health problems, deal with crisis situations and how to provide initial help, where and how to get further help and self-help strategies. The course will run over two days and will take place online. Anyone can attend the course but an interest in mental health and wellbeing is desirable.
