iOS (iPhone/iPad) User Guide
Information Services (ISD) provides support to staff with corporately owned iPhones and iPads. This support will focus on 'default services' such as Wi-Fi and staff email connectivity, while ensuring that Information Assurance security features such as Passcode and Remote Wipe are enabled. The Staff iPhone and iPad user guide (PDF link) provides configuration instructions to allow a member of staff to access University email and Wi-Fi on a University-supplied iPhone or iPad (which is the only directly supported device of this type).
Any advice provided by the Service Desk for any other types of smartphone devices such as Blackberry or Android is on a 'best endeavour' basis and is not guaranteed to work.
