From 14 November the In Hospital Resuscitation station for adult nursing will require the candidates to demonstrate how to use the bag valve mask to administer rescue breaths.
They will work with the examiner who will act as the second person, in line with Basic Life Support requirements rather than the candidate verbalising how the bag valve mask would be used.
