Over 96% of our research environment has been assessed, in the most recent Research Excellence Framework, as conducive to producing research of world-leading and internationally excellent quality and empowering outstanding impact.

Ulster University is in the top 10% of UK Universities for 4* or 3* research impact and 80% of our research outputs have been assessed as ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’.
