The Research Outputs Programme is designed to help academics/researchers in all aspects of research outputs through training, systems and support.
A research output is the product of research; a particular dissemination, publication, presentation, communication or pathway in which research is made available to people other than the author.
The REF 2021 guidance provides a glossary of outputs which includes books, Journal Articles, Conference Contributions, Devices, Performances, Patents, Designs, Performance etc.
