What is the Purpose of the Researcher Network

The Network for Research Staff aims to build an inclusive community for researchers at all career stages. It is a platform dedicated to connecting researchers from early career researchers to established academics.

  • Fosters a sense of belonging among researchers
  • Provides opportunities for networking and collaboration
  • To create a supportive and safe space for sharing experiences and challenges
Professional and Career Development
  • Access to workshops and training
  • Career talks and panels from industry and academia
  • Dedicated workshops from Research Support staff on various research toolkits and funding. opportunities
Advocacy and Representation
  • Represents the interests of researchers to institutional leadership
  • Influences policies related to research careers and working conditions
  • Ensures that researchers’ voices are heard in decision-making processes.
