The Centre is an active member of several national and international organisations which are committed to furthering the study of public administration. These include:

  • Political Studies Association of Ireland (PSAI)
  • European Masters of Public Administration (EMPA) Consortium

Additionally, the Centre is involved in hosting regular exchange visits by colleagues from overseas.

Staff within the Centre

Staff within the Centre serve as visiting lecturers, professors and fellows at other institutions overseas

These include:

  • Prof Paul Carmichael - Fellow, Centre for British Studies, Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany (annually, since 2000)
  • Prof Karl O’Connor - Visiting Scholar, Graduate School of Public Policy, Nazarbayev University, Kazakhstan (2021)
  • Dr Michele Gazzola - Visiting Research Fellow.  In 2023, the University of Udine, International Centre on Multilingualism.  Department of Languages and Literatures, Translation and Discourse Studies Research Group (GEDIT), Department of Translation and Language Sciences.  In 2019, University of Ottawa, School of Political Studies - Faculty of Social Sciences.  Permanent Associate Member of the Institute for Ethnic Studies in Ljubljana (INV), the Economics-Languages-Education Research Group at the University of Geneva (ELF), and the Language Management Interdisciplinary Research Group (GRIGL) at the University of Ottawa
