Data Protection and Information Compliance

The Data Protection and Information Compliance unit will develop, manage, implement and promote policies, procedures, strategies and services within the University to ensure compliance with all applicable data protection and privacy legislation, including UK GDPR; the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communication Regulations 2003.

The unit will also ensure compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, ensuring the development, management and implementation of procedures and services in this area.
