About this opportunity
The Professor Julie Hastings Scholarships aim to provide financial assistance to final year students at a critical juncture in their educational journey. The scholarship will provide an additional avenue of support to undergraduate students as they prepare to enter the workforce and develop their careers.
Scholarships will be open to final year students enrolled on the following courses at the University.
One scholarship awarded to an applicant from either of these courses.
- BSc Hons Culinary Arts Management
- BSc Hons International Hospitality Management
Second scholarship awarded to an applicant from this course.
- BSc Hons Marketing
All final year students registered on these programmes will be invited to apply for the scholarships.
How to Apply
Applications for the 2025-26 academic year will open in Spring 2026.
Eligible Campus Locations
Students studying at the following campuses are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

The £1,000 scholarship is exclusively available to final-year students enrolled in specified courses at Ulster University. Applicants must demonstrate ambition and aspiration in their career pursuits. Meeting these criteria does not guarantee selection. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to interview and asked to provide evidence.
