Action Renewables Scholarship

Funded by Action Renewables, this scholarship will provide one full-time or part-time student on the MSc Energy Storage commencing autumn 2026 (Belfast campus), with a £15,000 stipend payment to cover study costs. Action Renewables will also provide a range of additional opportunities to the scholar such as mentoring from an employee, visits to their workplace, and attendance at the Energy Institute Dinner as their guest.

Action Renewables is a registered charity with the vision to create a Northern Ireland which recognises the serious impacts of climate change.

Action Renewables aim is to achieve their charitable objectives through the delivery of renewable energy projects across Northern Ireland and specific global projects that will have a direct benefit to the communities in which they serve.

Applications for this year’s Action Renewables Scholarship are now open and will close on 20 September 2026 (by 12:00 pm).
